Paulo Coelho and his Selected Works as an Inspiration in Leisure Education of Youths

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to introduce the writer Paulo Coelho and use his selected works as an inspiration in leisure education of youths. The thesis is divided into two sections. The theoretical section introduces the author's biography, received literature awards, author's selected works, specifics of youths and selected methods chosen for working with the text. The practical section deals with the creation and realization of the project "The Alchemist - The Journey to the Treasure", which aims to develop self-knowledge and the ability of self-reflection in youths. The programme uses extracts of Paulo Coelho's work as an inspiration.
Painting with music in Kinderganten

The bachelor's thesis examines the influence of music on the painting activity of children in kindergarten. The aim of the thesis is to investigate how cheerful and sad music affects children and their ability to transfer this music to paper. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of preschool age, experiential learning, listening to music and the meaning of colors. The practical part examines the musical and artistic expression of children with a number of experiential activities. Furthermore, it brings concrete procedures and suggestions for the inclusion of painting with serious music in teaching in kindergarten. Data collection methods were based on observation, interviews, reflection, video recordings and analysis of drawings. The main findings of the work analyzes the different reaction of children to a sad and cheerful composition.
Education of preschool children in the topic of honey bee as an important pollinator.

Presented bachelor thesis was focused on creating a range of educational activities within the framework of environmental education, the aim of which was to raise the awareness of preschool children about the importance of the honey bee as our important pollinator. The main emphasis was placed on a playful form of activities that are intended to arouse children's interest in learning in the given area and, using experiential learning methods, to realize the importance of pollinators for our society and humanity as such. Basic pedagogical terms and terminology were defined in the theoretical part. Another part of the bachelor's thesis was devoted to the origin of the honey bee, its biology and morphology. An integral part of this literary part, a description of the principle of pollination, its impact on food production and environmental biodiversity. In the Practical part, activities focused on a playful form of experiential learning was presented. The presented activities were implemented in a kindergarten in South Bohemia and are described in detail. The program was subjected to reflection, which evaluated the impact of educational offers on children in kindergarten.
Outdoor activities at secondary schools in the Ústí region

Title: Outdoor Activities at Grammar schools in the Ústí region Aim: The main aim of this thesis was to determinate the current state of teaching outdoor activities (OA) at grammar schools in the Ústí region. Specifically, we have focused on whether schools include OA in their curriculums, in what forms and how often. We have questioned school principals and physical education (PE) teachers' opinion on OA inclusion. We have also surveyed opportunities for teaching OA in individual schools and their material equipment for OA. Method: Two semi-structured non-standardised questionnaires for the principals and physical education teachers. Results: Outdoor activities are widespread at grammar schools in the Ústí region. They are included both in the form of courses and in the physical education lessons, but more often in the form of courses. The most organised courses are outdoor courses at the beginning of the first grade (with the aim students got to know each other better and bulit a better team) and skiing courses. Almost all schools have suitable conditions for OA, but their material equipment for these activities is not optimal. The results show that teachers and principals have positive view on the inclusion of OA in the curriculum, however OA have more support from principals in this aspect. Key...
The educational projects of natural science with an element of project teaching for the 2nd grade of elementary school

This diploma thesis submits four educational programs for primary school pupils called "Ants"; "We are Flying to Africa"; "The Fellowship of The Forest" and "Waterworld". Including these programs, you will also find a set of teaching aids and activities for the 2nd year of primary school, which are designed for teachers and children. The projects were created on the basis of an analysis of several selected topics - Water in The Landscape, Life on Another Continent, The Fellowship of The Forest, The World and The Life of Small Animals (ants). The created material contains information and aids to individual programs. The programs help students to get closer to the characteristics of the given topics and to pass on unusual interesting things. It is based on a literary analysis of The Framework Educational Program, School Educational Program or other information sources. They create a number of several activities and task with additional school reports after completion of the projects. The worksheets which were used for pre-test, post-test no. 1 and post-test no. 2. The activities were partially practically verified with a selected group of 2nd year students at the Primary school in Tábor-Čekanice. Given the pandemic situation only two educational programs were into practice i.e. "Ants" and "We are Flying to Africa." These projects have had quite big influence on the children from the point of view of information cognitive knowledge. Students evaluated the programs as very entertaining according to questionnaires.
The Use of Experiential Learning in Religious Education

The bachelor thesis is called "The use of experiential learning in religious education" deals with the applications of experiential learning to religious education. The thesis focuses on children aged from eight to eleven years. The bachelor contains a theoretical part and a practical part. The aim of the thesis is to find out what changes the method of experiential learning brings to the lessons of religion. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the characterization of experiential learning, in which we focus on the findings of D. Kolb. Furthermore, in this thesis we penetrate into religious pedagogy, we examine its subject, goals and methods. It also deals with biblical stories and the possibilities of passing them on to children. The practical part contains two model hours of religious teaching. In the practical part, these two hours were planned and described, incl. preparation and description of the content of these two hours.
Analysis of Games with selected educational potentional of experience for schools

The presented diploma thesis deals with the use of the potential of experiential learning in the context of teaching at lower secondary schools. The theoretical part makes for the starting point of the practical part. It is devoted to the description of the basic pillars of experiential learning and the specific needs of pupils in the period of pubescence from the perspective of developmental psychology. The aim of the analysis processed in the practical part of the thesis is to select games from 29 issues of the Gymnasion magazine that meet the established criteria related to the principles of Experiential learning, the specifics of work with the educational category of lower secondary school-age and selected areas of the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education. The findings include 33 selected games, 15 of which are adapted in the form of didactic cards, which are available for teachers of Citizenship education.
Conceptualization of the departmental school model

The dissertation deals with the conceptualization of the model of the departmental school as a way of realization of managerial practices of students of the study programme School Management at the Faculty of Education of Charles University. The aim of the dissertation is to propose a concept of transferring specific knowledge and experience of secondary school principals by appropriate methods at management practices implemented in departmental schools to students of the study programme School Management, usable to transform their knowledge acquired in the theoretical part of teaching into skills applicable in practice in the school field. The theoretical part of the dissertation defines the departmental school as a place to transfer knowledge from experienced school principals to students, specifies the possibilities of managing and transferring explicit and tacit knowledge in the organization through a managerial approach, in the case of schools also through a pedagogical approach using experiential learning, and identifies the work activities and competencies of the manager and school principal. Sensory experience in art education

The diploma thesis is called "Sensory experience in art education." The theoretical part explores sensory perception through the knowledge of philosophy, psychology and art theory. It contains examples of the art works of the selected artists. It also deals with the content of RVP in relation to sensory perception and didactics of art education, with a specific purpose of designing an art project in art education. The essence of the didactic part is to devise an art project with the focus on human senses. Each of the tasks is centred on one of the senses: sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste. This project is further tested in practice with the help of the second grade students of elementary school and high school. The results are then analysed and evaluated. The amended form of the project can be currently used by art teachers. The selected tasks are the basis for the creative, authorial process of art work, which reflects the effect of the tasks and develops the students' further abilities.
